You did not choose the second hour on the sofa.
It was left there by someone who was tired in 2021
and needed somewhere to put an evening.

Do not argue with them. They are not in the room.
Just put something else in the hour —
the walk to the postbox, the call you owe your sister,
anything at all that occupies the chair.
