First evening, a woman in the corner asked if I wanted the rack.
Five foot two. I said take it, expecting to wait a minute.

She squatted what I had been calling my warm-up for eight repetitions,
racked it, wrote something down, and went for more plates.

She did not out-strong me. I still have no idea whether she out-strongs me.
She out-knew me, which is a different thing entirely,
and a much cheaper thing to go and buy.
